Walter Sawyer served in the US Navy at the age of seventeen

until he was honorably discharged. Over the next twenty years,

he raised his family. He enjoyed camping with his three children.

Later in life, they toured most of the fifty states.

He returned to serve his country when he enlisted in the

National Guard and was again called up to serve in the US

Army. I received an injury while on military duty and was

again honorably discharged. Now retired for thirty-five years,

he enjoys the senior way of life with his seven grandchildren

and five great-grandchildren.
